Intergen-Curated Program
Capitalism on Trial – Confronting Cronyism’s Betrayal of Our Values
In an era where the moral authority of capitalism is increasingly questioned, how can we reclaim the ideals that once made it recognized as a force for good?
Hilary Braseth, Bill Shireman and Nick Sorrentino will expose the harsh realities of cronyism and the lack of transparency that has distorted capitalism’s potential. We will specifically focus on:
- The role transparency has to play in exercising access to capitalism, protecting free markets and individual freedoms;
- Whether capitalism and democracy are compatible, and if so, what might principles of engagement and overlap need to look like for a flourishing society;
- The values at the center of “principled capitalism" and what our world would look like if we do it well.
This session challenges participants to confront the systemic failures that have led to the erosion of opportunity and access. Can principled capitalists rise above these obstacles, or has the system become too corrupt to reform?
Engage in a raw, unfiltered panel discussion that dares to ask whether capitalism, as we know it, is on the brink of moral bankruptcy—or whether there is still time to salvage it through bold, moral leadership.
The Making of Legacies – Redefining Success through Principled Leadership
In a world grappling with capitalism's complexities, how can a new generation of business leaders and wealth stewards rise above the pitfalls of the past and redefine success?
Join Tami Kesselman, Asa Siegel, and Sofia Sunaga as they delve into the ethical imperatives of conscious leadership and wealth stewardship. This isn't just about making money; it's about aligning financial prosperity with a deep sense of responsibility and purpose.
We'll explore
- The Alpha and Impact Equation: Can we achieve financial success and positive social change? What opportunities exist, and what challenges must we overcome?
- Navigating Modern Capitalism: How can families and businesses integrate transparency, ethical decision-making, and a commitment to human well-being into their practices and investment strategies?
- Building a Legacy of Purpose: How can we create intergenerational wealth that honors the past while shaping a more equitable and sustainable future? What does principled leadership look like in this context?
This session isn't about easy answers. It's about honest conversations, bold questions, and the courage to reimagine capitalism and wealth as forces for good. Come prepared to challenge assumptions, share your insights, and be inspired to create a legacy that truly matters.
